Role Overview
The Market Information Technology Manager is responsible for ensuring the IT landscape supports the business goals of the property safely, securely, and effectively. This role enhances property IT infrastructure, manages hardware and system maintenance, and works with vendors to validate that IT solutions meet the needs of guests, associates, owners, and property leaders.
This position is key for ensuring technology aligns with business operations and for supporting Marriott’s commitment to innovation and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Manage technology needs within budget targets

Assist in planning capital expenditures (CAPEX) and department budgets
-
Evaluate current IT landscape and estimate necessary upgrades
-
Ensure compliance with Marriott International Policies (MIPs)
-
Order and maintain IT equipment and manage vendor invoices
-
Conduct inventory of applications and hardware
-
Ensure security of technology assets and escalate risks
-
Provide technical guidance and end-user support
-
Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes
-
Execute IT projects, manage vendor installations, and perform audits

Maintain server infrastructure and provide project support for corporate initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
-
High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of IT experience, OR
-
Associate degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field with 2+ years of experience, OR
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred:
-
Prior hospitality system experience
-
Professional IT certifications
-
Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
