About the Role
Portraits by Christopher is currently hiring a Part-Time Studio Photographer who can bring warmth, empathy, and creativity to each session. You’ll work closely with families and their pets, helping them feel relaxed and celebrated while creating stunning portraits in the studio’s signature fine-art style.
No need to worry if you’re not already an expert — full, hands-on training will be provided. What matters most is your personality, patience, and love for both animals and people.

Photograph pets and families in a storytelling, fine-art style

Pay & Schedule

Base Pay: $22.50/hour

Commission: 3% on portrait sales (typical total pay ~$23–$24/hr or around $30K/year)

Hours: 20–30 per week, including two full Saturdays each month
Available Shifts
Shift A

Wednesday: 10 am – 2 pm

Thursday: 10 am – 2 pm

Friday: 10 am – 2 pm

Two full Saturdays per month
Shift B

Wednesday: 2 pm – 7 pm

Thursday: 2 pm – 7 pm

Friday: 2 pm – 7 pm

Two full Saturdays per month
Shift C

One or two full 8-hour days (Wednesday–Friday)

Note: Saturdays are high-demand days — availability on at least two per month is required. Those who excel may have opportunities for more hours or advancement to lead photographer roles.
