💼 Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at OPENLANE, you’ll:

Provide technical leadership and guide team decisions on design and architecture.

Work closely with product owners and managers to translate business needs into solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain modern software systems using Java and related frameworks.

Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high-quality standards.

Participate in the entire software lifecycle — from concept to deployment.

Implement and manage automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end).

🧠 Qualifications
Must-Haves:

2+ years of software development experience (mid-level preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Strong experience in Java, Spring Framework, REST API development, and SQL databases.

Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, Oracle, Serverless computing, and cloud technologies (Azure preferred).

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps and Git.

Strong testing practices — unit, integration, and functional.

Comfort working in Agile environments.
Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with microservices architecture and performance optimization.

Understanding of AWS technologies (API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).

Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Scrum are a plus.
