🧠 About the Role
As a Software Developer at StratasCorp Technologies, you’ll provide technical expertise in software application and database design to support the development and maintenance of the SIPR NIODB and related Navy systems. You’ll be contributing directly to projects that enhance national and service-level database capabilities — combining technical excellence with real-world impact.
This position is on-site only — remote work is not available — and it requires strong collaboration with various technical and defense organizations.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications and databases using C#, Blazor, MVC, WPF, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Python, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise for application and database development supporting Navy intelligence systems.

Support the transition of existing data to align with customer Database Design Descriptions (DBDDs) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).

Maintain, secure, and document both existing and new software code.

Collaborate with National and Service Organizations to implement new database formats and ensure integration with the Navy’s authoritative data systems.

Test, verify, and validate software and data management tools.
-
Analyze software requirements, develop prototypes, wireframes, and mockups to support design documentation.

Use Azure DevOps to manage Kanban boards, repositories, testing pipelines, and sprint planning.
🎓 Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in software development, including C#, .NET, and web/desktop applications.

Hands-on experience with XML and XML schema for data parsing and integration into Oracle databases.

Experience with Oracle RDBMS and SQL development/maintenance.

Proficiency in modern programming technologies: JavaScript, Python, HTML5, CSS3, Blazor, WPF, MVC.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps workflows and agile development practices.

Must hold DOD 8570 CSWF certification: Security+ CE (mandatory).
💼 Preferred Experience

Prior experience in defense-related software projects.

Strong understanding of data modeling, design documentation, and ERD mapping.
